Beyond the False Binary

Modern economics presents a false binary: market capitalism versus state socialism. Dharmic Economics rejects both as incomplete — because both treat the human being as an economic unit rather than a conscious, Dharmic being.

The Dharmic Framework

Dharmic Economics holds that: the purpose of economic activity is the flourishing of all beings; wealth has a Dharmic function — seva to the community; trade and enterprise are sacred when conducted with Dharmic consciousness; and exploitation of labour, nature, or knowledge is Adharma.
